Building Awareness

This project visualized my interview partner Lisett Lopez’s life through metaphor and design. I used “Hollow” as the typographical metaphor to reflect emptiness and negative space, and “Wings” as the visual metaphor to symbolize the passing of a loved one. Inspired by her Guatemalan roots, I used vibrant colors and nature elements—stars for hope and the ocean for calm. The guiding phrase, “Searching for roots in a world without anchors,” shaped the design’s emotional and cultural depth.
